20 Feb. Life update
Hello everyone, how are you all? I hope you are all well.
I know long time no see, or should I say no read, nah sounds so cheesy…
I can’t believe I am writing a blog post again, but in all honesty, studying is harder than I thought.
It’s super cool, since I just realize over and over again, that this job is simply a dream job for me, but that doesn’t mean the journey to being a physiotherapist is easy. The quite opposite if I am being honest, since there is nearly no time where I can sit back in relax, well let’s cross the nearly out, since there is no time at all (Yes I like to be dramatic!) for anything else but Uni, or at least that*s what Uni wants it to be.
Sure I’ll always try to make time for my boyfriend, who is the most understanding by the way, which I am so thankful for, and my friends who absolutely get it, that I don’t have as much time for them, as I actually want to have for them, but since there is something to study all the time, I only get limited time for everything else but Uni. Sometimes I don’t get to go home for several weekends in a row, since I try to work a little on the side as well. This isn’t a big problem to be honest, since I am used to not being at home for a while, but still I would enjoy going back more often.
Sounds like I have only negative things to say about it, which is absolutely untrue and I don’t want to make my life look miserable or anything, because it is everything but that. It’s very full of happy moments, that I get to enjoy with my newfound friends from Uni, with my old friends, my family and my boyfriend of course. I have a lot more appreciation again for the little moments, which is wonderful, looking at it like that.
Just a little overview for myself and for those who are interested, what I’ve been doing the past couple of months or in my first Semester as a physiotherapy student:
I made wonderful new friends in Uni, that make studying so much better and make all the things that are hard about it that much easier, I tell you I am more than thankful for every single one of them,…
…went on some proms in autumn and winter, simply to dance and have a good time with my loved ones,…
…went snowboarding with my family and Flo twice, which was just wonderful,…
…we celebrated birthdays,…
,…ate a lot of good healthy and not so healthy stuff…
…played some theatre performances,…
…did a lot on campus,…
…watched my boyfriend play a gig,…
…fell more in love with Graz,…
…of course celebrated Christmas and New Years,…
…did a few little creativity sessions, that I honestly really need sometimes,…
…got some glasses,…
aaand cuddled my pets a lot.
Thanks so much if there are still people reading this, I know I haven’t been posting anythig for ages, but I honestly didn’t have much time to do that, or at least didn’t want to take it, that’s probably more like it.
See you soon, or some time at least 😉
xx Lena
